The Lumix 14-45mm is a kit lens for the micro four thirds camera range but do not let that fool you into thinking its not worth your while. I have seen quite a few people that were astounded by what this little lens is capable of so it is definitely a case of not judging a book by its cover. All the shots that I took with this lens came out super sharp, which is all, that really matters to me. Any kind of distortion or chromatic aberrations seem to be compensated for automatically by the lens which is a excellent touch. It is even more impressive when you see how small and light this lens really is. The reason that people opt for the micro four third cameras is their compact size and this lens is the perfect addition. I would feel very comfortable taking this lens out into the field knowing I would get excellent shots.
