Foster and Oberweis Joint Appearance Schedule
14th District Candidates to Square Off Five More Times Before March 8 Special Election
(Geneva, IL) – The campaign of Democratic congressional candidate Bill Foster today released a schedule of joint appearances between Foster and Republican Jim Oberweis. Including last Friday’s WBBM-AM radio debate, which aired yesterday, there are six scheduled joint appearances before the Saturday, March 8 special election.
The candidates will appear side-by-side before three editorial boards: the Aurora Beacon News tomorrow, and the Chicago Tribune and Daily Herald on Wednesday. The Beacon News and Tribune will post video of the candidate interviews on their websites.
In addition, the candidates will square off on two more televised forums. WTTW’s “Chicago Tonight” will broadcast live tomorrow night, Tuesday, February 26, at 7:00 pm. The candidates will sit down at WMAQ studios on Friday morning at 11:00 am for NBC 5’s “City Desk,” which will air on Sunday morning.
