Foster Releases First TV Ad

Strong Buy, up through the Primary
Geneva, IL – Today, businessman and scientist Bill Foster released the first television advertisement of the Democratic primary. The ad will begin running on cable systems throughout the district tomorrow and the campaign announced that they will be advertising until at least the February 5th primary.

Script to follow:

Bill Foster: Year after year, the same people run for office, and nothing changes in Washington. I'm Bill Foster, and as a scientist and businessman, I want to stop the political bickering and start solving problems.
Narrator: Bill Foster. Scientist. Businessman. Democrat for change. At 19 Foster started a lighting company from scratch with his brother.

Fred Foster, brother of Bill: We put a couple of sawhorses up, and a piece of plywood, and we started working there.

Narrator: Now that company employs hundreds of people with good manufacturing jobs right here in America. And then for over 20 years, Foster worked at Fermi National lab, tackling science's toughest problems.

Tom Peterson, Fermi Lab scientist: Bill brings people together. He knows how to get things done.

Narrator: Bill Foster will help find innovative practical solutions to end our dependence on foreign oil; restore fiscal discipline, and bring our troops home from Iraq.

Bill Foster: I'm Bill Foster, and I approve this message because with less bickering, and more problem solving, I know we can change course.
