Filing Day!

And with that, it's official.



Quite a few of us braved the early morning cold to file our nominating petitions in Springfield.  Thanks to all of your help, we filed over 1900 signatures with the Illinois State Board of Elections-- 1,000 more than the required number to qualify for the ballot.

I was standing next to Kane County Board member and Aurora judicial candidate Paul Griviskes who was much smarter than me and brought a blanket with, much to the delight of his wife Angie.  Next time, right?
